Being one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of palm oil, Malaysia is well-positioned to promote the use of biomass and biogas as renewable energy sources.
As the country’s largest grid-connected biogas-to-energy developers, we build and operate zero-waste biogas plants that convert Palm Oil Mill Effluent to energy.
Our grid-connected biogas plants reduce carbon emissions while providing a clean energy resource for heat and power generation. Additionally, our biogas projects also supply electricity to the national grid and help improve the quality of wastewater in the area.
Today, we operate a total of four biogas-to-energy plants that generate a total capacity of 5.5 MW with another 1.5 MW plant to be commissioned later in 2018.
If you believe we can work together towards greater change, we would like to hear from you.
