ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION - Room Automation - GESIS® RM

The gesis® RM series is KNX-based and modular. The functionality of a unit is derived from the nature and number of the extensions added to a base module. A DALI and EnOcean extension module allows communication across systems. The modules are attached to a TH 35 mounting rail and must be installed in a housing. This is usually done in a Wieland system distributor, which enables decentralized and pluggable installation.

The functionality of the modular gesis® RM series incorporates binary inputs, relay outputs for blind and lighting applications, semiconductor switches for heating/cooling valves, DALI, and an EnOcean extension module. All functions are managed by the KNX base module and executed in up to four extensions.

The arrangement is installed in a system distributor that we define together with our customers. This offers scope for individuality, and it is made to industrial grade in-house.
