Wine bottles are diamond saw cut, sanded, bevelled and fire polished leaving a perfectly smooth finish with no rough or sharp edges.

The fire polishing besides giving the best finishing on the rim it also heat treat the edges making it tough. It is stronger and more durable than regular tumblers!

Hila Upcycle processes use much less energy compared with standard glass recycling methods. Low temperatures during the reshaping process mean that our products keep many of the characteristics of the original bottle, creating unique, functional and sustainable objects.
