Metals are valuable materials that can be recycled again and again without degrading their properties. Scrap metal recycling involves the recovery and processing of scrap metal from end-of-life products or structures, as well as from manufacturing scrap, so that it can be introduced as a raw material in the production of new goods. Scrap metal recycling is help in keeping a green environment and extracting and processing virgin material, while also generating more jobs.

Metal recycling process involves a number of steps such as collection, sorting, process, melting, purification, solidifying and last, after the metals are cooled and solidified, they are ready to use.

Types of Metals

Metals can be classified as ferrous, or non-ferrous while we do collect and scrap for both categories.

Ferrous metal contains some degree of iron, in other words it is a combinations of iron with carbon such as carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel. On the other hand, non-ferrous metals include aluminum, copper, lead, zinc, tin, brass and bronze .
