Multi Media Filter & Activated Carbon Filter

The purpose of passing the effluent through the multi media filter is to remove the residual suspended solids from it. An activated carbon filter is a filter housing containing granular activated carbon. The treated or activated carbon has a massive surface area making it highly effective at adsorbing tastes and odours, as well as chlorine and organic colour from water.
