Neighbourhood Elderly Centre design

The existing condition was handed over in a bare-shell condition. "Nature" and "Eco-friendly" themes were adopted because a natural ambience is pleasing to the elderly people. To provide a warm colour tone, timber became the primary colour throughout the premises. High efficienct LED lighting and energy efficient appliances were used. Building materials are eco-friendly with low VOCs. Movable partitions were installed to subdivide the great hall space into smaller break out rooms.

After completion by K&W Architects and To's Universe, the neighbourhood elderly centre received much reconigition from many visiting NGO bodies.
