ART DECO STYLE

This Nathan drinks cabinet has been refinished in Fusion Chestler which is a lovely petrol blue. It has a reverse geometric hand taped design to reveal the beautiful oak grain. The design is complemented with copper and gold metallic highlights.

The cantilever top has a lovely rise and fall action with mirrored pop out drinks display painted in a light metallic copper.

The bottom section features the beautiful "Pluto" wallpaper from Mini Moderns which sits beautifully with the over all style.

This style of design is well over a century old and, whilst other styles have come and gone, Art Deco has never really gone out of fashion. The bold lines, symmetry and ornamental design make it a brilliant foundation to base any room design on.

Adding an Art Deco cocktail cabinet to a dining room or lounge will give it an instant 1920’s feel. Beautiful, eye-catching, practical, functional, but always bang on trend.

SMALL MID CENTURY DRINKS CABINET - DESIGNED TO ORDER

What I love most about my work is giving vintage pieces of furniture a new lease of life in the Art Deco style. I can source another drinks cabinet for commission, or put more simply, “designed to order”.

Working together, but guided by you and your specifications, we will transform the gorgeous cabinet into an eye-catching piece that matches you, your style, and your design theme, perfectly.

Keep the design simple and natural, opt for an Art Deco imported chevron design or perhaps an interlinking diamond pattern.

The sides can be painted in a midnight blue, deep ocean green or any other moody colour. Whilst the original handles can be refurbished in a soft gold to match the gold detail and the kick board.

The process starts with a face to face design consultation via video call to discuss the cabinet specification, colour and detailing.

I then follow up with a full mood board outlining the colour scheme and design both inside and out. Colour samples can also be provided.

The whole process takes 4-6 weeks and progress updates are provided throughout the cabinet refurbishment.

The result will be something totally unique and individual….a piece that you will treasure for many years to come.
