City Harvest is thrilled to be Whole Foods Market’s chosen charity for their 2022 ‘Shop Local, Give Local’ campaign. This initiative focuses on supporting local businesses and giving back to local communities via City Harvest.

How does the campaign work? Visit any Whole Foods Market store in London and purchase any one of their Local products, Whole Foods Market will match 100% of the proceeds and donate it all to City Harvest London to help with mission to rescue food, people, and the planet.

We take food from businesses who have surplus or want to donate as part of their corporate social impact. We get the right food to the right people at the right time.

Sustainable Solution to Food Poverty

City Harvest rescues & delivers free nutritious food for over 1.1 million meals a month.

City Harvest collects surplus food from all arms of the food industry including farms, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, caterers and events.

The City Harvest Food Council is focused on educating the food industry about our sustainable solution for food businesses. Passionate food industry leaders wanting to make positive changes.

Feeding 375+ Charities Across London

City Harvest rescues people. Hundreds of thousands of Londoners go hungry each day, while perfectly good food is being wasted. We rescue people from hunger and offer hope for a better tomorrow.

Our recipients span all areas of need, including; homeless shelters, soup kitchens, community centres, food banks, children's programmes, schools, centres for the elderly, refugee centres and refuges for women experiencing domestic violence.
