Wheel Thrown Double Handle Made With Mud Mug

This particular piece features 2 extra large handles. For those who may need a 2 handled cup but want the dignity of drinking from a real mug.

The handles have been lowered from the top to allow for silicone lids to be added if needed.

Made with stoneware clay and thrown on the wheel. It has been glazed with a calming Lavender glaze. It would make a wonderful gift or treat for yourself!

The mug was dried slowly once the handles were added over a few weeks. It was then fired to over 1000c, called a bisque firing. It was then glazed and fired again to over 1200c. This is when the magic happens and the glazes run into each making the individual look of the Made With Mud mug.

All Food Safe Glazes, dishwasher and microwave safe.

Just remember that although safe, dishwashers can be brutal places for pottery!
