Gwynt y Môr is a 576 mega watt offshore wind farm. It’s eight miles off the North Wales coast in Liverpool Bay. Its 160 turbines are capable of generating enough energy to power 400,000 homes every year.

Muirake

Every little helps, and the two wind turbines at Muirake wind farm in Aberdeenshire have a capacity of around 4.6 mega watts. That’s enough clean energy to power 4000 homes.
