AltMat is an Alternative Materials Science company. We build materials of the future and regenerative technologies behind it. building Materials of Future. One of our key technologies upgrades agricultural residues into high performing natural materials called as Altag. Altag embodies holistic Sustainability, Inclusivity and Performance.

Textiles immensely damage the environment. For instance, polyester is plastic. Fashion wants to shift to better materials, but choosing between environment and economics has been an either-or choice. ‘No More!’

Using materials science and sustainable proprietary processes, we transform biomass of certain food, medicinal and industrial crops into natural fibres.

We started as an idea; an idea to bring sustainability to the mainstream. In the last few years we have been able to build better versions of our tech from Lab Research to Pilot Factory, and now to Industrial Scale Production. Our state-of-the art infrastructure came to life in 2021 with a promise of scalable production of Altag at unprecedented Quality. 

As the tech works with multiple kinds of  agriculture waste we now eye decentralised and geographical agnostic scale.
