We offset the emissions from the gas we supply by supporting carbon reduction projects around the world. Plus, we're one of the biggest buyers of green gas for homes in the UK so a chunk of our gas mix comes from renewable sources, too.We source our electricity from generators of all different sizes, from small solar farms to big off-shore wind sites.

Sometimes we partner with generators to directly purchase their electricity. And we get the rest of the electricity we supply from the wholesale market. For every unit our members use, we buy a renewable generation certificate to match.
