With 10 years of research, from three research institutes, into manufacturing and developing nanocellulose, ion-selective membranes for electrochemical energy and conversion devices.

Cellfion stems from 10 years of research at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Linköping university and Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE). The research combined cellulose fiber knowledge with electrochemistry and as a result Cellfion was born.

We have offices in Stockholm and Norrköping, Sweden, and our lab is located near KTH. We work closely with research institutes in Norrköping, Stockholm and our customers to ensure the continuous development of our membranes for optimal use in electrochemical applications.

We are a team of 6 working towards the commercialization of our membranes, 4 focus on our technology and 2 on building a successful business. We are expanding fast and are always looking for new talented people that want to join our team.
