We started with Econic® Eco Friendly Packaging NZ and this year we expanded our products based on your feedback to include our newest EmberPack™ bags.

EmberPack™ bags are certified recyclable paper bags approved for direct food contact and can be disposed of in local kerbside paper recycling collection.

Econic - Truly Compostable

Econic is made in New Zealand by people who care about quality products and protecting our Earth. 

Customers can put their used Econic bags in their own home compost or worm farm where they can break down into small fragments in as little as 16 weeks. Econic packaging can even be buried in the garden as well as disposed of in a commercial composting facility if there’s one in your area. (To find out if there's one near you, check out our Composability Information page).

If you or your customers don’t have access to either a home or industrial compost, you are welcome to return your used Econic bags to us and we'll compost them for you. 

EmberPack™ - kerbside recyclable

EmberPack™ is made in New Zealand by people who care about quality packaging and protecting our Earth.

Customers can dispose of their used EmberPack bags in their kerbside paper recycling.

EmberPack™ bags are PREP certified and accepted in council kerbside paper recycling collection in New Zealand and Australia.

Our EmberPack bags are medium moisture barrier, low oxygen barrier certified paper recyclable bags ideal for storing short (<6 months) shelf life dry goods such as coffee beans.
