Technological solutions exist for most water-related challenges, but their penetration into the most vulnerable communities requires an adapted social, cultural and environmental approach.

WHY KORI ODYSSEY?

THE CHALLENGES BEHIND THE PROJECT

The effects of climate change and rising consumption are now leading the world towards a water crisis. Affected at different levels, isolated and vulnerable communities are the first to be impacted by these water shortages and the associated health, economic development and nutrition problems. The lack of water is largely responsible for the numerous climatic migrations which will increase in the future.

The scaling up of a single solution to these multiple problems in different regions has already shown its limits in terms of access to water for the marginalized. On the contrary, we believe that tailor-made solutions built with the actors concerned and in accordance with local socio-economic models are key to sustaining a sustainable water service.

Kori Odyssey's ambition is to facilitate the emergence of such a solution through the development of projects initiated within communities and with local authorities.

Our holistic approach consists of taking into account all local water-related issues and helping to co-construct, with all stakeholders, an ecological, cooperative, sustainable and resilient ecosystem.
