PaperBack has been selling recycled paper since 1983. The original aim of the company was to help close the recycling loop by providing greater choice of recycled printing papers.

PaperBack launched SylvanCoat, the UK’s first coated recycled printing paper in the late eighties and we were the first paper merchant in the country to be awarded FSC® Chain of Custody. The company pioneered environmental labelling with the ‘abcd’ classification system and we continue to assess the environmental performance of our suppliers each year.
