Description

Strotec stands for the application of straw as a fully-fledged contemporary building material in a prefab fast building system

– Dimensionally stable panels with a flat surface. With a maximum tolerance of 2 millimeters on a 3 meter wall.

– Can be used as load-bearing facade

– Simple, fast, clean, dry assembly on the construction site. That saves costs

– Certified quality and more than 10 years of experience.

CO2 storage: The straw and wood in our facades have absorbed so much CO2 that it compensates for the CO2 emissions from assembly, transport and production of the other materials in a building.

Nitrogen-free: Straw and wood absorb nitrogen to grow. As a result, nitrogen-free production and construction is carried out.

Bio-based: The prefab timber frame construction (HSB) system contains only natural materials; straw, wood and clay.

RC 8.3: The Ecococon panels are European certified for an insulation value of Rc 8.3. This makes 'zero-on-the-meter' easy to achieve.

Fire certificate 120 minutes:  European certified (REI 120)

Form-free construction concept: The system follows a design and translates the design into a layout of prefab elements.

Rapid construction:  The prefab elements are delivered ready-to-use and numbered to the construction site. An entire building layer is installed in 1 day. Assembly only requires standard carpentry tools

Year-round construction : Installed facades are provided with an airtight foil that is vapour-permeable but watertight. Thanks to this weather-resistant layer, you can build all year round.

Structural building system: Straw elements are HSB crates filled with pressed straw (4 Tons). By screwing these box constructions together, a strong whole is created. Even earthquake resistant.

Stacked Building:  Without auxiliary structures, you can build up to 3 tiers high. It is possible to build infinitely high with auxiliary structures.

Circular & Cradle-to-Cradle:  The elements can be disassembled for reuse. New products can be made from the basic materials or they can be returned to nature. European C2C certificate.

Excellent footprint:   Straw is a residual product from agriculture; wood comes from renewable FSC forests.

Low installation: Due to the very high insulation value and the vapour-open structure, heating and air treatment installations can remain simple.

Breathable facades: The building system is very vapour-permeable and, in combination with the high insulation, provides a comfortable, healthy and balanced indoor climate.

Acoustically pleasant: The combination of straw facades with clay plaster on the inside ensures good acoustics.
