We have been frustrated by the ongoing issue of air quality, and how it is affecting everyone, from the youngest to the oldest in everyday life.
Many people are unaware that the current global air quality does not meet the WHO guideline of PM2.5 annual 5μg/m3. For every 10μg/m3 particle count higher than the WHO target, it increases our health mortality and morbidity risks by 8%. With poor air quality contributing the deaths of 8 million people annually around the world, an estimated 91% of the global population breathing polluted air and 10% of annual child deaths under the age of five due to contaminated air (Source: UNICEF, World Health Organization), it’s time to make a change.
